As we embark on a new decade with the start of 2020, we wanted to take a moment and look back at the amazing opportunities One Link Mortgage had to GIVE BACK to our community in the past year:

In March, we once again had a Food Drive in support of Winnipeg Harvest. We were able to collect 218 pounds of food! Winnipeg Harvest shares donations like ours with over 400 food distribution agencies throughout Manitoba. June saw us take on a new charity to support: The Winnipeg Humane Society. We are all very fond of animals at One Link and wanted to make a difference in the lives of some of those who needed some help. We were thrilled by all of the support we received and thanks to the kindness of so many, were able to provide the WHS with not only food, toys, clothes, leashes, but also several kennels and cash donations!

On September 18th, we rolled up our sleeves and helped out with a little sweat equity. For the second year in a row, 17 enthusiastic One Linkers arrived at 542 College Avenue for a day of volunteering for Habitat for Humanity Manitoba. We are extremely pleased to announce, that thanks to our incredible team and their amazing supporters, we surpassed our fundraising goal and raised $5,445! Habitat relies on volunteers to aid with the general framing of the houses. That’s where teams, like ours, come in. It is amazing to know that we have been a part of such a transformative project that supports our community in such a positive way. In December, we decided to focus on giving back to toddlers and teens. Thanks to our very generous One Link Mortgage Brokers, we were able to donate almost $1,000 in gifts to the Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Christmas Cheer Board! It was such an amazing feeling to see all of the donations and we are extremely grateful we were able to give back at Christmastime.

We couldn’t have done any of this without the help of others like you and are so grateful for your support! We are looking forward to how One Link can GIVE BACK in 2020!
